DIGITAL DOWNLOAD. YOU DO NOT GET A PHYSICAL PRODUCT. You will receive a link in your thank you page of the checkout, along with an emailed link that will last for 30 days.
You get 9 pages of prewriting shapes that are the precursors to teaching kiddos how to write their letters in a developmental progression (see below). Dot markers are great for slowing down a student to establish proper motor plans for formation, and the smiley faces identify a specific starting spot on the shape. These are larger shapes on 8 1/2" X 11" paper. Tape them to an easel or the wall to start the younger student on a vertical surface. This encourages proper grasp on the marker, wrist extension, strengthening of the stabilizing muscles in the arm, and brings the image at eye level for the student.
You can also use these with other forms of fine motor manipulatives. Use stickers and place in each circle, place cotton balls or colored puff balls in each circle with a pair of tongs, or laminate the sheets and have the child color each circle. So many activities with these sheets.
Progression of prewriting strokes:
1 years old= scribbling and a vertical line
2 years old= horizontal line and circle
3 years old = cross
4 years old = square and diagonal lines
5 years old = X and the triangle
